Welcome to International Workshop on Computational Intelligence (IWCI 2016) organized by Jahangirnagar University (JU), Bangladesh and South Asian University (SAU), India. This workshop is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Bangladesh Section and will be held on 12-13 December 2016 at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, JU. JU – a home of natural beauty is situated 30km from the national capital Dhaka.
IWCI 2016 invites submissions of substantial, original, and previously unpublished research works on neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, fuzzy systems, machine learning and optimization. The workshop is focused to discuss the state-of-the-art developments, research challenges and unsolved open problems in the field of Computational Intelligence to beginners as well as to professionals. It will also provide a platform for students, scientists and faculty members to involve, interact, present and get reflections on their research. The official language of the workshop is English.

All the accepted and presented papers will be submitted for uploading into IEEE Xplore and also will be published in the Workshop Proceedings. In addition, selected papers will be published in a special issue of a reputed journal. Each paper must have at least one author registered.
